More than 30 thousand demands came to dealers of AVTOVAZ from interested people who wish to get new Lada cars within the limits of the recycling program. Maxim Nagaytsev, the sales and marketing vice-president of AVTOVAZ, informed about it and added that classical models Lada occupy 40% in structure of accepted demands, other models are presented equally that will allow to load capacities of the plant regularly.
According to Mr. Nagaytsev, AVTOVAZ plans to realize not less than 30 thousand cars for the first month of operation of the utilization program. “We plan to realize 100 thousand cars declared by us earlier for first four months of operation of the program - from March till June”, the top-manager of AVTOVAZ said and remarked that “it coincides with seasonal demand”.
Mr. Nagaytsev told that AVTOVAZ expects that potential participants of the utilization program, first of all, will become interested in those cars which are already available. According to him, today about 40 thousand cars are in the plant property that is in the rests and about 15 thousand are redeemed by dealers.
As for prospects of recycling of old cars at AVTOVAZ itself then, according to Mr. Nagaytsev, capacity of the plant for car processing makes from 10 to 30 thousand units for the whole period of validity of the program. Thus AVTOVAZ plans to minimize the participation in auto stuff processing, limiting recycling up to 10 thousand cars and preferring the specialized enterprises.
