Sollers took 150 million rubles on credit to purchase car kits
Sviaz-bank opened for “Sollers - Far East” a demand line of credit for 150 million dollars in ruble equivalent at the rate of Central Bank of the Russian Federation till the end of 2015. Autonews informs that the credit is given within the limits of the project financed together with VEB which is the main shareholder of Sviaz -bank.
Allocated funds are planned to direct for purchase of car kits for assembly manufacture of a wide range of Korean off-roaders under the SsangYong brand, the Japanese ISUZU trucks and specialised FIAT Ducato vehicles for Far East social infrastructure: passenger and school buses, emergency and armored vehicles, etc.
In 2010 it is planned to produce 10 thousand off-roaders SsangYong, not less than 1 thousand Isuzu trucks and about 500 special vehicles on the basis of FIAT Ducato at the factory “Sollers - Far East”. On the first stage (in 2010) production capacity of the plant will make 15.000 vehicles per year and will come up to 40.000 units by 2012. The project also suggests establishment of component production which provides high localization level of produced cars.
