Analysts remark the high importance of this region for auto business building. Actually Moscow is a separate “state within a state”. Companies which incomes have huge scales are now established and develop within Moscow Ring Road. More than 500 dealer centers work now in the Moscow region. 13 Moscow dealer holdings according to the results of 2008 are in Top-500 of the largest companies of Russia. The monetary capacity of the automotive market of the Moscow region (in 2008 it was 20 billion USD) is comparable to total capacity of the markets of such countries as Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Slovenia taken together. More than 50% of the monetary streams generated by the Russian car business now fall on the Moscow region. More than 40% of primary sales of foreign cars go through outlets of the Moscow dealers. Almost every third new car is registered in the Moscow region and approximately every seventh-eighth second-hand car is registered in the territory of Russia. 15.3% from the total auto park of Russia fall on the share of Moscow and the region.
