In the report there are the basic concepts of financing of auto recycling system used abroad as well as basic moments of initiatives of the Russian government in this direction and the prospective model of the future system of vehicle recycling in the Russian Federation is shown with bonus payments for junking cars older than 10 years.
Besides, data about the park of passenger, heavy and light commercial vehicles are included in the report arranged according to brands and year of manufacture in the whole Russia, in Moscow, St.-Petersburg and in seven federal districts of the Russian Federation.
This theme is especially acute because the experiment on vehicle recycling in a number of Russian regions should start already at the beginning of 2010. The key role during the experiment in 2010-2011 in this process will be occupied by official dealers of auto manufacturers who should co-operate both with STSI (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate) and with the executive boards of the federal authority and with the companies specializing on vehicle recycling. Besides, there are initiatives to involve the insurance companies in financing of creation and functioning of auto recycling system.
