History 
The analytic agency “AUTOSTAT” was created in May 2006 on the basis of the analytic department of the news agency LADAONLINE and the publishing house of the automotive press “Seven Verst”. Hereby, all the previous works in the branch of statistics and analytics of the automotive market of Russia got a new structure.
The main activity of the new company is making up the reference book “Automotive market of Russia ”, released once a year at the end of April. There you will find final totals of development of the Russian market for the previous year comparing with past periods, there are different estimations, including the financial ones. The forecasts of further development of market are also included into the reference book. There are three parts in it: production, sales and park of Russian technics.
Starting from summer 2006, the company has enlarged the efficiency of preparing the marketing reports and researches. There was taken a decision to develop a new direction of work of the company after its enlargement – preparing of marketing reports, published monthly. There is analysis of separate, narrower segments of the automotive markets.

Method of research

The main method of preparing of released editions is the information research method. The direct contacts with companies – partners and informational resources play a big role in getting the correct, actual and reliable data for further research work.
The agency collaborates closely with the International Association of Dealers OAO “AUTOVAZ”, with the company “ASM-holding”, with the Committee of Businesses in the automotive branch in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia and a range of other companies. The analytic agency “AUTOSTAT” collaborates closely with numerous mass media. They are: periodicals, such as “Klakson”, “Autoreview”, “Za rulem”, “Automeridian”, and informational agencies, such as “PRIME – TASS”, “ITAR - TASS”, “Gazeta.ru” and many others.
